2023 SCHOLARSHIP

Nancy Guzik was so kind to donate another full scholarship to one lucky student who would be able to attend a workshop with us, of their choosing. Jack Browning, based out in the Netherlands at the time applied for the scholarship and was granted it in full. This covered his flights from the Netherlands, his full tuition fee when here, and of course food drink & his accommodations in Yorkshire. Jack chose to take a workshop from Henrik Uldalen in March 2023.

If you are in a position to donate to 2024’s students, please do so - and in return the student & ourselves will celebrate with you - and share the experience along the way!

£50.00 (This donation is the first step towards us helping a student join us for a workshop - thank you!)

£100.00 (This donation would be offered to those struggling to join a workshop with us.)

£250.00 (This donation would cover all materials for the student, which they would take home with them afterwards!)

£500.00 (This donation would help cover accommodation for the students workshop.)

£1,000.00 (This donation would go towards a workshop space for a student - a donation like this makes a workshop possible for so many more students!)

£1,650.00 (The donation would pay for a student to attend a workshop. Thank you!)

£2,500.00 (This donation would cover absolutely everything for 1 student to attend a workshop with us - WOW!)

Guga Sanches was awarded the Schmid & Guzik Scholarship in 2019 (carried over to 2022) to attend both of Nick Alm’s workshops with us in 2021. This included Guga’s flights, accommodation, food & drink, all art materials, the workshops (x2 with Nick Alm) and transport to and from the airport.

Make a donation.

Richard Schmid & Nancy Guzik wanted to help us make a difference to a students life by offering them a once in a life time opportunity to come and study with us, here in Yorkshire. The idea behind the scholarships was and still remains to help those who could not ordinarily attend a workshop with us, do so. If you are in a position to donate to 2024’s students, please do so - and in return the student & ourselves will celebrate with you - and share the experience along the way!
