Classical Portrait Sessions - hosted by Luke Thompson
Join us on the last Saturday of every month to draw or paint from the live model. In these sessions, the model will be posed in the classical tradition of portraiture, creating elegant, subtle gestures with atmospheric lighting, taking inspiration from Rembrandt, Sargent and Velasquez. The sessions are suitable for all levels of experience, styles and mediums, where you are able to practice your craft with a friendly group in a professional studio space. Your host for these sessions will be Luke Thompson, who will be on hand to help with set up on the day or any questions you may have.
Kamille Corry Workshop 2026
This five day floral painting workshop will challenge the students to capture the ever changing form, character and beauty of fresh flowers. We will spend the first half of the workshop practicing techniques for individual flowers - concentrating on colour, form and values, as well as using the consistency of oil paints to describe texture and form.
The second half of the course we will do a small composition with multiple flowers, working on the design, light effect and overall color scheme. Tips and tricks to keep the flowers in place and fresh as possible will be discussed as well. Kamille will be painting alongside the students and giving individual critiques throughout the week.
Experience painting in oils is highly recommended.
Contemporary Portrait Sessions - hosted by Jessica Britton

Beginners will gain confidence exploring new ideas in a supportive, pressure-free space, while experienced artists can push the boundaries of their practice and discover fresh inspiration. Come ready to experiment, take creative risks, and see portraiture in a whole new light.
