We’ll be welcoming both new teachers and students into our vibrant community, continuing to grow and inspire together.
We’re also happy to announce that our schedule of live streams will continue throughout 2025, making it easier than ever to join us from anywhere in the world. Well... this is what you can expect : A very professional organisation, from the studio management to the evening entertainment, no detail is left to chance. Susan and Scott are very generous and knowledgeable teachers. No doubt that Symi has a flair to find the right artists for their workshops… You will get true connections with other fellow artists coming from all other the world, and you will also learn from them, so be open minded and ready for new friendships. “I recently attended a workshop with Alex Venezia and Workshops in Yorkshire and was incredibly happy I made the choice! the whole week was full on, exactly what I'd hoped for. Each day was jam packed with painting and knowledge. We had two amazing models, whom we got to paint for the week after watching daily thorough demos from Alex. He showed us his approach to indirect and direct painting and explained every brush stroke thoroughly and answered every question thoughtfully. The studio space was incredibly inspiring, with casts and loads of amazing paintings from contemporary artists. As an added bonus we got to see Rosemary's House, where we were treated to a demo of brush making and a lovely meal! the house in itself was incredible.
