I’m here to remove the headache out of the next steps you might want to consider taking and help you find the opportunities that are out there for your art career. I firmly believe that after just a few sessions, I can help you look professional and give you a presence in the art market that you will be proud of. Respectfully, some students may take more than a few sessions, but the noticeable changes will come from the very first free session.

    After we’ve worked together you will see the benefits ranging from your confidence in your online appearance & the content you share, confidence to approach galleries with a plan and a pricing structure, confidence to inform your followers and collectors about your next steps and more. The key word is confidence, and once we’ve worked together, you will have confidence in yourself, your brand and what you share with others.

    Let me ask you this. Why is it we have life coaches, sports coaches etc? And yet, to my knowledge at least, there’s very few art coaches - more specifically, someone to help you with your business plan for your art career. Please do not mistake me for someone who can help you with your art work, but more, your business plan. I want to coach artists’ around the world and help them in ways with their businesses, that I believe, aren’t out there for artists’ right now.

    After graduating from Law School back in 2012, literally a month later I started working for Rosemary & Co as their Sales & Marketing Director. Fast forward to now... Over 11 years later, after working with artists day in - day out, I feel I know more than most about marketing yourself in the art market. When I first started at Rosemary & Co, we were a small team of 5. During my time there I worked with a team of developers to build the website, I set up Instagram & Facebook pages with over 86k & 53k organic followers, I ran all the advertising campaigns and set up the affiliate scheme. I also designed all the packaging, catalogue & branding. I travelled overseas over a 100 times to various conventions and paint outs (I’ve lost count in all honesty) and have had the privilege to working with many of today's world leading artists, many of them are now my friends.

    How we used to say it was I dealt with what you could see & Rosemary dealt with what you would touch; the mammoth task of a production team and set of skilled brush makers. We worked really hard to get the feel of a small family business out there. As I leave Rosemary & Co in the capable hands of Rosemary and her team, now it’s my time to share all those business skills I’ve learnt with you.

    The issue I see time and time again isn’t in fact an artists ability of their work, it’s their ability to present themselves in a professional, up to date, focused manner. The main problem for many folks is time. Taking the time to sit down and work out exactly where you want to be on the map. To work out what your strengths and weaknesses are. To admit what you know about business and what you don’t when it comes to marketing yourself.

    I want to step in as an online smART COACH© and help you direct your time and efforts where it matters. As I have said before, I can’t help you with your art work (our incredible teachers at our workshops can do that!) but I can help you with your business plan, career and appearance in the art world.

  • Goals.

    In the first session we will work through where you are at now. Before the session begins, I will send you a form to fill out which should give me enough information to see what's out there on you. From there we will look at an overview - what do you think you have done well, and what needs work. What are your goals. We will discuss the topics that matter most to you and create checklists to achieve them.

    You should expect this session to be around 30 minutes.

  • What to expect.

    Once we have determined what needs to be done, I propose a 1.5 hour zoom every 3-4 weeks, but we will in fact go at your pace. Each session will be focussed on specific topics which we will agree ahead of the session.

    We will begin each session with a recap of the previous session making sure goals have been achieved and signed off.

    The time in between our meet ups will be for you to work on what we have discussed, call it home work if you like.

    If you don’t have the skill set for x or y, we can work together to try and achieve your goals. I am well connected in the industry and have a team of experts I can call on to help if needed.

  • Marketing Plan.

    I will talk you through and guide you as much as needed and my intention is to work at a pace that is manageable and doable for you.

    We will come up with a marketing plan specific for you. My intention is to have a portal you can log into and have a lot of resources on a topic to give you ideas, tips and a good understanding of what others in the art market are doing.

    I will tailor your marketing plan to your needs. Let’s really dig into what’s going on with your brand and look at the ways we can push it forward.

Pricing

  • Your first 30 minute session is free.

    Once you have filled out the form below, I will be in touch to arrange a mutually beneficial time for us to Zoom and go through where you’re at now.

  • Each 1.5 hour session after the first free session is £160/$200 - to be paid before the session.

    We will spend a little time at the beginning going through what we’ve been working on in the previous sessions (making sure we are crossing things off the list) - then we will spend the rest of the session on a topic/s of your choice. We will confirm the topics before the session so we stay focused and so I can help you in the best way possible.

    If you are in the UK, I will send you our bank details to make payment via bank transfer. If you are international, we will do this via a system called Transfer Wise (it’s the lowest bank fees).

    Cancellation Policy: If you cancel within 48 hours you will receive a 80% refund. If you’d prefer to re-arrange your appointment we can do that within 1 month of the planned session with no charge. If you cancel with less than 48 hours notice to your session, unfortunately there is no refund. All cancellations and re-scheduling must be done on email to hi@workshopsinyorkshire.com

  • This is limited to 6 students a month. It’s 4 sessions over a 1 month period. (One 1.5 hour session a week) with written feedback in-between sessions. See this as an intensive block which is intended to really get things moving at pace. For example launching a website, needing help with branding etc.

    The SOS would work out at £800/$985 - which like I say also includes contact in-between sessions to ensure you’re on track and moving at pace.

    I can offer payment plans for the SOS sessions. The first ½ would be needed before the first session and the second ½ would be needed before the third session.

  • You can book 6 sessions as a block. This works out to be the most economical way if you know you’re going to require several sessions.

    6 block sessions would work out at £864/$1080 - which is a 10% saving buying them as a block.

    I can offer payment plans for the block sessions. The first ½ would be needed before the first session and the second ½ would be needed before the third session.

  • Please get in touch. I am happy to adapt the sessions to the needs of your students in a power point presentation style.

  • Once we have got on top of things, I would recommend we touch base every 6 months for a few hours to make sure we are keeping on top of things. These sessions will be 2 hours (maybe a little longer if needed) and will be £200/$250.

    They are not needed until we’ve got on top of everything. You could also use a session like this if you have a specific area you are wanting to work on, such as a new show, a new website, a charity project etc. They are intended to be that bit longer and more in depth than a regular session.
