5 Day - Painting the landscape, outdoors to indoors
Have you ever struggled to use your plein air paintings as reference for larger studio pieces or perhaps struggle to finish paintings in plein air? This workshop will focus on the importance of plein air painting as a tool to inform your work in the studio, whether that be bringing studies to finished completion or using them to plan out more substantial pieces. We will have ample time onsite as well as indoors to bring to life what nature can teach us. Students will learn by watching demos, have one on one critique and assistance, as well as verbal discussion and lectures. We will draw upon the importance of observing from life and how to use supplemental photograph references when working in the studio.
We will have a maximum of 16 students for the workshop.

Transport to the daily locations if you are staying in Skipton (so you can avoid the cost and stress of driving a rental car! If you are in the UK and are willing to drive, or will be renting a car, do let us know.

We offer payment plans. The first payment secures your place and is your deposit. The second is required 3 months later. The third, three months from then.
We split the payment into three equal amounts (£566.66 GBP).

So, although you can pay via the website, they charge extra fees. Truth be told, there’s extra fees for all international payments, but if I call you and take payment over the phone, it’s only 3%.
If you are in the UK, we should do a bank transfer as there are no back fees that way.
If you book through the website, we will need to ask you for a 5% fee payment.
