Jackson's 0.8mm Ultralite Linen Board - 9x12in

Oil primed and suitable for work with oil paints, Jackson's Ultralite Linen Board consists of a Claessens 66 Medium Surface canvas on a durable and archival quality paper and resin composite board.

The linen has a medium texture and has been double primed: first, zinc white is used as a primer, bound with linseed oil. The canvas is then left to dry naturally for three days, after which the canvas is then sanded and a coating layer based on titanium white is applied. The final step involves drying the canvas for ten days. The linen canvas is fixed to the board using a pH-neutral and acid-free glue.

Ideal for plein air work or in the studio, these boards are ready to be created upon immediately and are lightweight enough to carry around.
